Dominick A. Benedetto, M.D. (Retired)

Dominick A. Benedetto, M.D. is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist and member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the International Society of Refractive Surgery. Dr. Benedetto has been in private practice since 1981. He is a certified LASIK surgeon as well as a highly experienced cataract surgeon and has been recognized as a New York Metropolitan area “Top Doctor” in several publications for the last 10 years.

Dr. Benedetto received his B.S. from Rutgers University and his Masters and Medical degrees from the University of Florida College of Medicine. He served as an intern in internal medicine at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. and completed his Ophthalmology residency at the renowned Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia (recently renamed The Wills Eye Institute). He remained on the teaching staff at Wills as an Associate Attending Surgeon for 12 years.
